Horse racing has a problem that has nothing to do with the horses.
The sport is genuinely great. Two minutes of controlled chaos, athletes moving forty miles an hour, a hundred and fifty years of ritual, and a finish line that settles it with no appeal. Nothing else in American sport looks like it.
The problem is the door. For a century, participating meant six figures, a bloodstock agent, and someone already inside willing to vouch for you. Everyone else got the grandstand.
Adam Kluger has spent three years rebuilding that door. It is working.
Kluger is an entertainment executive, not a racing lifer. He built the Kluger Agency around brand integration in music, and he managed Lil Yachty.
That background matters, because he is not trying to fix racing from inside racing. He is applying a music industry playbook to a sport that never had one.
His stated ambition is direct: do for Thoroughbred racing what Formula 1 did for itself over the last decade. Take a niche, gatekept, expensive sport that outsiders found impenetrable, and turn it into culture.
F1 did not accomplish that by changing the cars. It did it by opening the paddock, showing the personalities, and letting people in.
Run Fast Racing runs on a subscription. Members join through a mobile app for roughly $100 per month and connect to a stable of Thoroughbreds.
Members receive:
Compare that to how the sport has always worked. Traditional partnerships and syndicates exist, but they typically want thousands of dollars upfront, accredited investor paperwork, and a multi year commitment before you ever see a horse run.
A monthly subscription does not just lower the price. It changes who is allowed to consider it at all.

Run Fast’s ownership group includes Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Rauw Alejandro.
This is the part people fixate on, and it is worth being precise about why it matters. It is not that celebrities make a horse run faster. It is that racing has spent decades trying to reach audiences under forty and mostly failing, while three artists with a combined reach in the hundreds of millions now have a reason to talk about a sport their audiences have never considered.
Lil Wayne and Rauw Alejandro are co owners of Listenupshance. Their involvement connects the horse’s Grade 1 run to audiences far beyond traditional racing media.
The coverage followed. Complex, Grazia, BloodHorse, Yahoo Sports, the Paulick Report. Racing trade publications and culture publications covering the same story is not a common occurrence.
Celebrity attention gets you a news cycle. Results get you taken seriously.
The Belmont Stakes. Run Fast took a stake in Vitruvian Man alongside owner breeder Glenn Sorgenstein, and the Doug O’Neill trained son of Vino Rosso ran in the 158th Belmont Stakes at Saratoga on June 6, 2026. He went off at 30-1 and came in off a third place finish in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby.
A subscription based membership platform connected to a runner in a Triple Crown race, in its first full year, is not a marketing stunt. That is a horse that had to earn its way into the gate.
Del Mar opening weekend. On Sunday, July 19, Che and Ah Jeez both won for the stable, on dirt and turf, in the same afternoon.
The Grade 1 Bing Crosby. Six days later, on July 25, Listenupshance won the $400,000 Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes by a nose over Maximum Bourbon, in 1:11.38 for six furlongs. Emisael Jaramillo rode for Doug O’Neill.

The Bing Crosby is a Breeders’ Cup Challenge race, part of the “Win and You’re In” series. Winning it earned Listenupshance an automatic, fees paid berth into the Breeders’ Cup Sprint.
The 2026 Breeders’ Cup World Championships run October 30 and 31 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. Fourteen Grade 1 races. More than $34 million in purses. It is the closest thing American racing has to a Super Bowl.
Run Fast is headed to Keeneland, and members can follow the stable into its biggest stage yet.
To be clear about what that means: Listenupshance has qualified for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, not won it. The race is in October. But a horse that Run Fast has said was bought for $10,000 as a yearling now has a paid entry into a world championship, and that is a genuinely remarkable place for this operation to be in year one.
It is easy to be cynical about celebrity involvement in anything. Here is the case for taking this seriously.
Racing does not need to be reinvented. The product is already excellent. What it has lacked is a way for a normal person to move from watching to belonging. That gap has made it harder for racing to turn casual interest into lasting participation, even while the racing itself remains extraordinary.
Every sport that has grown in the last decade grew the same way. F1 opened the paddock. The UFC built personalities. Both let audiences behind a curtain that used to be closed.
Run Fast is doing the racing version. A notification on your phone when your horse enters the gate. A reason to know a trainer’s name. A path into the Owners’ Lounge instead of the grandstand.
That is not diluting the sport. That is the sport finally selling what it always had.
RARE Nightlife coordinates access across Los Angeles’ most selective rooms. West Hollywood rooftops, Hollywood late nights, celebrity celebrations, SoFi Stadium suites. The work is the same every time: know the room, know the door, get the right people inside without friction.
Racing turned out to be the same problem wearing different clothes.
The Del Mar winner’s circle is a room. The Owners’ Lounge is a room. Keeneland in October is a room. Each has a door, and most people never learn where it is.
That is why RARE partnered with Run Fast rather than simply covering it. Same philosophy, different venue. Access is curated, not sold.
